POETRY BREAKFAST

Start your Sunday with poetry, breakfast and a healthy dose of friendly competition at the inaugural Ocean Mic Poets Slam. Hosted by Gabrielle Journey Jones and the Ocean Mic Poets, this lively event celebrates original poetry, performance and community—because the points are not the point, poetry community is the point.

Poets of all ages are invited to step up to the mic, with each performer given three minutes to present an original work before being scored by three randomly selected audience judges. Great prizes are up for grabs for the winning performers.
