On Track
On Track is an immersive multimedia performance inspired by the Bundian Way, the ancient Aboriginal pathway linking Mount Kosciuszko to Twofold Bay near Eden on the Far South Coast of New South Wales. Combining narration, film and live music, the work explores landscape, memory, movement and connection to Country through a powerful collaboration between award-winning author John Blay, Yuin cultural practitioner Warren Foster, composer Damian Barbeler and acclaimed musicians Anna McMichael, Louise Devenish and Ben Ward.
Drawing on Blay’s celebrated book On Track, the performance invites audiences on a journey through one of Australia’s most significant cultural pathways. Through storytelling, music and imagery, On Track reveals the Bundian Way as a place of exchange, reconciliation and enduring cultural connection, offering a rich and evocative experience that connects literature, place and contemporary performance.
